Meet The Team

As a former long-time resident of East Lansing and a long-term MSU staffer, Su is an ideal fit for the Director of Student and Community Relations, possessing a deep firsthand knowledge of the “town & gown” intersections in our community. Suchitra works hand-in-hand with Student Life & Engagement, the Office of Governmental Affairs, and the City of East Lansing. Suchitra also earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Masters Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Michigan State University.

The Office of Student & Community Relations includes the MSU College Advising Corps. Suchitra also co-directs MSU Vote and sits on the International Town & Gown Association Board.

As a recent Spartan graduate, Grace brings to our office her public relations skills and love for community. She has growing experience working with nonprofits, community engagement and communications work. As an undergraduate student she was involved in our SEA program. As a graduate assistant, Grace works to support our office and SEA Interns. Grace holds a Bachelor’s of Art from Michigan State University and is on the path to gaining her Master’s of Art in Public Relations and non-profit fundraising.

Ellery is a senior at Michigan State University studying Creative Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design. She has been part of Off-Campus Life for a year, focusing on social media management and content creation. Ellery enjoys using her creativity to grow the program’s online presence and connect with the local community.
