Where can I begin my Off-Campus housing search?

A great place to start is offcampushousing.msu.edu! This resource offers the ability to look at student properties in the area with price, location, room/bathroom needs, and so much more. Each posting is verified off-campus housing. You can also use this resource to help with the roommate process as well.
Can I meet with someone to help me with finding Off-Campus Housing?

Yes! You can email us at CSR@msu.edu to set up a consultation with one of our staff to support you in finding off-campus housing.
Do I have rights as a tenant?

Yes! Check out our Rights and Responsibility page!
Do I need to have renters insurance?

Yes! Even though some places do not require it, it is always good to have it in case of an emergency. Most places offer it to be built in with rent but in other places, you must provide your own. The price of this insurance can vary from $5-20. But this will help protect you and your belongings in case of an emergency!
My landloard hasn't responded to me in over a month. Is there anything I can do?

Yes! Contact our office, and we will talk through the situation and if necessary reach out to Student Legal Services with any legal issues.
How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?

Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
